Conversations with Charlie

Nick and I were talking about our trip to Michigan over the 4th of July. We had mentioned his cousin Sam. Charlie was eavesdropping on our conversation, and felt the need to comment, as she does all the time.

Charlie: Sam is worried about me. (she is talking about her friend Sam...see the previous post about Old McDonald's farm)

Me: He is...Why?

Charlie: Because he loves me.

How sweet is that!!!

This morning Charlie and I were discussing breakfast since she woke up at the crack of dawn and we had time to eat at home.

Me: Do you want cereal?

Charlie: No

Me: Do you want a Banana?

Charlie: No

Me: Do you want toast?

Charlie: No

Me: (I was running out of options at this point) Do you want an Apricot?

Charlie: Yes!!! I love that!! I like that question!!! It is a beautiful question!

Yes....she is a tad dramatic. I have NO idea where she gets that from.
