I was brushing her hair this morning and I was in a really big hurry (as I am most mornings.) Her hair was really tangled and I yanked on it pretty hard.
Charlie: "OUCH!! Mommy, you have to be careful with me!"
Most of the time Charlie is a pretty quiet passenger while I am driving. However lately she has decided to be a back seat driver.
Charlie: "Mommy...watch out for that Tree! Mommy...Watch out for that car....don't crash it!" Mommy watch out for that house!"
Nick thinks this is hilarious. I am really not that bad of a driver.

This was a close one!
A Fire inside the power strip!
Thank you God, that it was just a dark fish tank I woke up to instead of the entire house on fire!

You Are My Sunshine
I sing songs to Charlie every night at bedtime. She always asks me to "sing me my songs?" He three favorites are "You are my sunshine" "Jesus Loves Me" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." I always ask her to sing with me, but she acts all shy and hides her face.
This past weekend, instead of asking me to sing her songs, she said "I sing you my sunshine!" She sang the whole song, rarley missing words! Then she went on to sing Jesus Loves Me!
I caught a little of "You are my Sunshine" on video. You will have to turn your sound way up in order to hear her.

Mexico Picture Overload
We are back! We had a fantastic time in Mexico. We stayed at the Catalonia Royal Tulum Resort in Xpu-Ha, which is way south on the Riviera Maya. The hotel over booked and tried to send Dan and Jamie to another resort for a couple of days, but Jamie worked her magic and got us upgraded to suites and the spa with free massages, ect. Thanks Jamie!!! :)
Most of our trip was spent relaxing on the beach, but the first day we were there we went on an excursion that exceeded all of our expectations. We had a private tour for just the 4 of us with the owner of the company. If you are EVER in Mexico, you need to book a tour with Edventure Tours. It was unbelievable.
Here are a few (I mean a lot) of my favorite pictures. There are so many more that I might post again, but here is a start.
Nick and I snorkeling in a Cenote (underground river in caves, amazing!)
Ladder in the Cenote
More Cenote
Nick, Me, Jamie & Dan in the Cenote
Sea Turtle - This was in the ocean, no net. Just a sea turtle in it's element. Awesome!
Nick with the Sea Turtle
Eagle Ray - We saw one eating too. I will post a video of that later.
It was so fun to see the fish in the reef now that we know what we are looking at because of our saltwater tank.
Must get Beer at the mini super!
Me jumping off a cliff into a lagoon. (Yes, I did lose my mind!)
