Charlie got her first pedicure last week from Kelsey and Jill. She loves her orange toes!

Pumpkin Carving

Last Halloween, Charlie was only about 6 pounds and VERY tiny. So we decided that she would fit very nicely inside our pumpkin. The picture was so cute, it even got published in Nick's Mom's hometown newspaper!

We thought this was so funny, so we are starting a Halloween tradition. Each year, we are going to see how much of Charlie we can fit in a pumpkin!! I am sure for the first few years that Charlie will think this is very fun and be a willing participant. However, I am sure that around the middle school age, we may have to use bribery or be sneaky to keep the tradition up! I guess we will just see how long it lasts!

Fun in Leaves!

Just some pictures of Charlie playing in the leaves! Nick covered her with leaves on the way to Aberdeen this weekend. She thought it was really funny! Do you like her camo shirt? She was ready to go hunting with Daddy!

Mobridge/Aberdeen Trip

Nick went to Mobridge this weekend for opening pheasant season. So instead of staying home and feeling sorry for ourselves, Charlie and I tagged along and then went on to Aberdeen to spend the weekend with my Grandparents. It was such a great weekend. There is nothing more comforting than hanging out with my Grandma and Grandpa (and Grandma's cooking isn't half bad either!) Charlie loved showing off for them and getting spoiled by them. (she got LOTS of ice cream!) Grandpa even taught her how to nod yes! Until this weekend her answer for everything was NO! So thank you very much Grandpa! We love you both VERY MUCH! Hopefully we will be able to get back there more often.

Family Pictures

We are very lucky. My dad loves photography. He has taken a couple classes and has invested in a lot of professional quality photography equipment. We have so many great pictures of Charlie because of it and I have only taken her to Sears once. Why pay the extra money when my Dad can take just as good of pictures and do whatever we want. We took some really casual family pictures down by the dog park last Sunday. The other good thing about Dad taking the pictures is when we are done I can have him photo shop me out of the ones I look stupid in!!

The Great Pumpkin Charlie May

We went to the pumkin patch tonight. Charlie just had to have her own pumpkin to carry. So we searched the whole patch for just the right Charlie sized pumpkin. This patch is grown by some freinds of ours and they started this for the kids to come pick thier own pumpkin. They started with only 5000 pumkins a few day ago. They are almost all gone now. All they asked for was a donation!!

Weird!!!

Sorry...no pictures today. I just have to post a crazy thing that happened to me today. I looked at my horoscope this morning. I don't usually read it...I just happen to look at it every once in a while. :) Anyway... this is what it said:
