I met my friend Merci during our pre natal swimming class. We were both first time mom's and learning the ropes of pregnancy and motherhood together. I feel like her little boy, Sam, was Charlie's friend even before they were born.
Merci's little boy Sam, was born 2 months before Charlie. I remember holding Sam when I was on bed rest and Charlie kicking poor little Sam from inside my tummy!
Merci and her family moved away last year, and we miss them tons! So I was really excited when she called and said she was hitching a ride back with my sister and coming to visit!
Charlie and Sam had a great time playing together. It was so fun to watch Charlie play with someone so close in age.

There are tons of signs that say "don't sit on the turtles" Apparently most people are illiterate. But we found out that the turtle can take care of itself. Someone put their 3 kids on the turtle while we were standing there and the turtle got mad and bucked them of.... like it really bucked....both front feet of the ground and everything. Needless to say, Charlie and Sam didn't want much to do with the turtle after that. But GO TURTLE!
Wouldn't this be so sweet if you could see Charlie's face! She is doing this really fun thing right now with turning her head for most pics. Cute hair though!! :)
